DAEG RCM Project (Part 4)

ＤＡＥＧ　ＲＣＭ化 計画（その４）ですが、ここに来て 工場の作業が 非常に忙しく

なかなかＤＡＥＧに 集中する事が 出来てません・・

微妙な進行遅れを 感じつつ、何とかせねば！と 奮起しております

 

This is supposed to be the 4th entry of DAEG RCM project,

but recent progress has been sluggish due to other works we are

currently engaged in…　Being aware of our delay,

we are trying our best to catch up with our initial timeline.

 

 

あれもこれも・・と 欲張っても、うまく 行かないでしょうから、とにかくは

スイングアームを、完成させる事にしました

But trying to take everything we can lay our hands on would not do

any good. Therefore, we started from completing the swing arms.

 

 

この ＤＡＥＧでは、スイングアームの下側に 補強用の スタビ材を 追加する事に

決めていました。 外装のパーツ類が ボリュームある デザインなので、スタビ材も

存在感ある物に したいと思います

For this DAEG, we have decided to add stabilizing material under

the swing arms for reinforcement.

As the exterior parts boast a quite voluminous appearance,

we want to use something stout as the stabilizer that matches the design.

 

 

そんな訳で、プレスで押し出し成形した おなじみ、ガセット材を用いた ＴＹＰＥに・・

We settled for the popular gusset type extruded and molded

with the press.

 

 

専用の型に アルミプレートを 置いて、油圧プレスで 押して行きます

We use an original mold, on which we lay an aluminum plate and press

it out with the oil hydraulic press.

 

 

押し切って 変形した アルミプレート材を抜けば、ガセット材の 出来上がり・・

We just need to press out completely and remove the shaped plate

material to get a finished gusset.

 

 

続いて、軽量化と強度アップを 兼ねた めくり穴加工、バーリングを 施しましょう

Next step is barring, or hole punching and turning-up process,

which makes the material lighter and stronger.

 

 

 

まずは下穴を開け、そこへ専用の めくり型をあてて、プレスで 押して行きます

First, we punch holes, then we apply an original turn-up mold

against the hole and use the press to raise the edge of the holes.

 

 

開けた穴を 全て めくり上げたら、ガセット材を 向かい合わせで 溶接して行きます

When all holes are “turned up”, the gussets are then welded together,

face to face.

 

 

まずは、ブラケット部分の 完成ですっ！　この後は アルミの曲げ角パイプを 用いて

このブラケットと 共に スイングアーム本体側に 溶接するのですが、その模様は

また次回、お見せいたしますね・・

The bracket part is now complete!

The next step is to weld the bracket and the aluminum bend angle pipe

to the swing arms on the main body side,

which I hope can show you next time.
