Hello, there! I’m Nakamura (President and Representative Director of AC
Sanctuary) posting this article from the Head Office… This is Part 17 of a
series of articles on Restomod Project for CB1100RC (with the serial number
RCM-282) commissioned by the Dutch company CMS!
さぁ！ いよいよ車体を 立ち上げて行きます！ まずはホイール・・
ＲＣＭは、こう言った 足回り部品の 選択においても、こだわりを持って 選んでます
Now, we are building up the body! First, wheels…..
RCM is very particular about selecting suspension parts like this.
イタリア Ｏ・Ｚレーシング製の アルミ鍛造ホイール・・
現在 世界選手権で 最も数多く 使用されている、本物の レーシングホイールです。
ＲＣＭは 基本的に オーナーさんの 好みの部品を 使用すると言う 考え方で、製作を
していますが、ホイールや サスペンションなど 足回りの 重要部品に 関しては、
本当に 良い品物だけしか、ＲＣＭには 採用しない 考え方なんです
O ・Z Racing aluminum forged wheels from Italy. Currently they are the most
popular wheels used in world championships and they are true racing wheels.
Generally, RCM’s manufacturing philosophy is to use parts that the owner
prefers, but when it comes to important parts like the suspension or wheels,
RCM uses only the finest parts.
ブレーキ ディスクローターも、同様の考え方・・
日本の ＳＵＮＳＴＡＲ社から リリースされている、ＰＲＥＭＩＵＭ ディスクです
Same for a brake disc rotor.
It is a Premium Disc that is sold by Sunstar Company in Japan.

The RCM logo mark is engraved on the disc rotor … a gem that was
manufactured incorporating RCM concept specifications through Sunstar’s
good offices, as part of their product line-up.
ディスクの アウターと インナーローターを 繋ぐ、フローティングピンにも、
ＲＣＭ ロゴが 入ってます
The RCM logo mark is also engraved on a floating pin which connects the
inner and outer rotors of the disc.
倒立 エクスモードパッケージ 専用の、クロモリ 中空 アクスルシャフトを 用いて
フロントホイールを 取り付けます
We installed front wheels using a high tension hollow steel axle shaft
specially made for the inverted ExMode Package.
そして リアスイングアームが、粉黛塗装から 仕上がって来ました
Then, powder coating of rear swing arms has just finished.
半ツヤ消し黒で 仕上られた 塗装が、とても 良い質感です♪
The texture of the half matte black paint feels very good ♪
実は このスイングアーム、 ＲＣＭ専用の 特別な仕様・・
アタッチメントの 入れ替えで、リアシャフトのサイズを 変更出来る 優れ物なんです
Actually, the swing arm is made to RCM’s unique specifications.
It is a brilliant item and the size of the rear shaft can be adjusted by simply
changing attachments.
スイングアームを 取り付ける 為の ピボットシャフトも、クロモリ中空 ＳＰＥＣＩＡＬ・・
次回、 フレームに 取り付けます！

A pivot shaft that is used to install the swing arm is also a special item made
of high tension hollow steel. Next time we are moving on to frame
